How do I edit a Word document?

A Word document stored in the Cloud opens and can be edited in ArkiaDocs, without Word and without installing anything. It saves itself.

Step by step

  1. In Cloud, click the Word document (a file ending in .docx).

  2. ArkiaDocs opens it in its own window, already connected to your Cloud.

  3. Edit the text as you would in Word: the buttons at the top change the font, size, bold, colors…

  4. Close the window when you’re done: every change is already saved in the Cloud.

Good to know

  • Prefer Word, if it’s installed on the computer? Right-click the document, then « Ouvrir avec » (Open with) followed by the program’s name. When you save, the document goes back to the Cloud.
  • To send the document as a PDF: Convert to PDF.
