When does ArkiaSuite show a notification?

A notification is the little message that pops up in a corner of the screen. ArkiaSuite shows them for your appointment reminders, not when a message arrives.

What appears

  1. Calendar reminders: at the time chosen in an appointment’s Rappel (Reminder), a notification appears.

  2. On a phone, the automatic photo backup also shows its progress in a notification.

  3. New messages, however, don’t trigger a notification: look at the red number next to Mail.

  4. To check that your computer lets them through: Paramètres (Settings) → Notifications, then Envoyer une notification de test (Send a test notification).
