How do I connect my phone without retyping my password?
Your computer shows a QR code (a square made of little dots): the phone takes a picture of it, and it is connected, mailboxes included.
Step by step
On the computer: Paramètres (Settings) → Compte (Account). Under « Connecter mon téléphone » (Connect my phone), click Afficher le QR code (Show QR code).
On the phone: install ArkiaSuite from the Play Store, and open it.
On the phone’s sign-in screen, tap Scanner le QR code de mon ordinateur (Scan my computer’s QR code).
Point the phone at the code shown on the computer. Done: your account and your mailboxes are on the phone.
Good to know
- The code only works once, and only for a short time. If it has expired, show a new one.
- This is done from the app installed on your computer.
