What is the Home screen for?

The Home screen is the first page of ArkiaSuite: your day, your latest messages mailbox by mailbox, and your latest files, at a glance.

The demonstration (25 seconds), without sound: read the captions under the picture (in French, like the app). The people and addresses are made up.

Step by step

  1. Click Accueil (Home) at the very top of the left-hand column.

  2. At the top are the quick buttons: Nouveau message (New message), Déposer un fichier (Upload a file), Nouvelle tâche (New task), Nouvel événement (New event) and Demander à ArkiaIA (Ask ArkiaIA).

  3. Aujourd’hui (Today) shows today’s appointments, and À faire (To do) your tasks: check a task to finish it.

  4. Messages récents (Recent messages): one card per mailbox, with its address, a red badge showing the number of unread messages, and its last four messages (unread ones in bold, with a red dot). Clicking a message opens it in its mailbox; the card’s arrow opens the mailbox in Mail.

  5. Fichiers récents (Recent files): your latest files, sorted by type — PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Images, Autres (Other). A click opens the file; Ouvrir le Cloud (Open the Cloud) shows everything else.

Good to know

  • Ouvrir Mail (Open Mail), below the cards, opens Mail in full.
  • Further down, Activité récente (Recent activity) reminds you of what you did recently: a click takes you back there.
  • The Ctrl + 1 shortcut takes you back to the Home screen from anywhere.
