How do I put the passwords saved in Chrome into the vault?

Chrome can give you all its passwords in one file. ArkiaSuite stores them in your vault, then offers to throw the file away.

Step by step

  1. In Mon coffre (My vault), click Importer depuis Chrome (Import from Chrome), at the top.

  2. The window gives you an address to open in Chrome: click Copier (Copy), then paste it into Chrome’s address bar and press Enter.

  3. In Chrome, click « Exporter les mots de passe » (Export passwords), then confirm with your Windows password.

  4. Go back to ArkiaSuite, click Choisir le fichier exporté… (Choose the exported file…), and choose the file (usually in your “Downloads” folder).

  5. « Import terminé » (Import complete): click Mettre à la corbeille (Move to trash) to throw away the exported file.
