How do I use a password from the vault?

The simplest way: copy the password, then paste it on the website.

Step by step

  1. In Mon coffre (My vault), type the name of the website in Chercher un site ou un identifiant (Search for a site or username).

  2. On the website’s row, click Copier le mot de passe (Copy password).

  3. On the website, click in the password box and paste it (Ctrl + V).

Good to know

  • For your security, the copied password is wiped from the clipboard after a few seconds: paste it right away.
  • Afficher le mot de passe (Show password) shows it in plain text; it hides again on its own after 30 seconds.
