How do I get my vault on another computer?

Your vault follows you: on a new computer, you link it once, with a code from the old one or with your recovery sheet.

Step by step

  1. On the new computer, sign in to ArkiaSuite and open Mon coffre (My vault). It shows « Votre coffre existe déjà » (Your vault already exists).

  2. On the computer that is already linked, in Mon coffre (My vault), click Ajouter un appareil (Add a device). A QR code and a code appear, valid for 5 minutes.

  3. On the new computer, type this code in the Code d’appairage, ou code de votre feuille de secours (Pairing code, or code from your recovery sheet) box. No old device anymore? Instead, type the code made of 7 groups of 4 characters from your recovery sheet.

  4. Click Relier cet appareil (Link this device), then choose the 4-digit code for this new computer.

Good to know

  • The « Ajouter un appareil » (Add a device) code works only once. If it has expired, click Afficher un nouveau code (Show a new code).
