How do I forward my Orange (or Wanadoo) e-mails to ArkiaMail?

Orange Mail (Le Mail Orange) can forward your e-mails to another address, on two conditions: an active Orange contract, and being connected to your Livebox.

Step by step

  1. At home, connected to your Livebox (by Wi-Fi or cable), open Orange Mail from orange.fr, with your Orange login details.

  2. Open the settings menu, then click tous les paramètres (all settings).

  3. In the généralités (general) section, on the transfert de mails (mail forwarding) line, click modifier (edit).

  4. Choose Transférer tous les mails vers une autre boîte mail (Forward all mail to another mailbox), then enter your ArkiaMail address as the forwarding address.

  5. Check that it works: from another address (a relative’s, for example), send an e-mail to your old address. It should arrive in your ArkiaMail mailbox, in ArkiaSuite.

Good to know

  • An @wanadoo.fr address opens in Orange Mail: the steps are the same.
  • Transférer uniquement certains mails vers une autre boîte mail (Forward only some mail to another mailbox) sorts by sender, subject or recipient. When you change address, choose all e-mails instead.
  • To stop: same path, then ne pas transférer (don’t forward).
  • Orange’s help does not say whether a copy stays in Orange Mail: keep the old mailbox for a few months.
  • You find forwarding set up to an address you don’t know? Your account may have been hacked: follow Orange’s steps for this case, and change your Orange password.
  • To copy your old e-mails into ArkiaMail, do it yourself in the app: Paramètres (Settings) (on a phone, Réglages (Settings)), Messagerie (Mail), Récupérer mes anciens mails (Bring over my old e-mails). Step by step.
