How do I forward my Yahoo mail to ArkiaMail?

At Yahoo, automatic forwarding is only available with the Yahoo Mail Plus subscription.

Step by step

  1. In Yahoo Mail on a computer, open Paramètres (Settings), then Autres paramètres (Other settings).

  2. Click Boîtes aux lettres (Mailboxes), then your main account.

  3. Under Transfert (Forwarding), type your ArkiaMail address, then click Vérifier (Check).

  4. In ArkiaSuite, open the message you received from Yahoo and follow its instructions.

  5. Check that it works: from another address (a relative’s, for example), send an e-mail to your old address. It should arrive in your ArkiaMail mailbox, in ArkiaSuite.

Good to know

  • Yahoo describes the classic version of Yahoo Mail here; in the new version, the menus may be in different places.
  • To copy your old e-mails into ArkiaMail, do it yourself in the app: Paramètres (Settings) (on a phone, Réglages (Settings)), Messagerie (Mail), Récupérer mes anciens mails (Bring over my old e-mails). Step by step.
