How do I delete a file, and get it back?

A deleted file first goes to the Corbeille (Trash). As long as it’s there, you can get it back.

The demonstration (20 seconds), without sound: read the captions under the picture (in French, like the app). The people and addresses are made up.

Step by step

  1. To delete: right-click the file, then Mettre à la corbeille (Move to trash).

  2. To get it back: in the left column of the Cloud, click Corbeille (Trash).

  3. Right-click the file, then Restaurer (Restore): it goes back where it was.

  4. Supprimer définitivement… (Delete permanently…) erases it for good. ArkiaSuite asks you to confirm: after that, there’s no going back.
