How do I put files in the Cloud?

Uploading a file to the Cloud means putting a copy of it somewhere safe, which you can reach from anywhere.

The demonstration (20 seconds), without sound: read the captions under the picture (in French, like the app). The people and addresses are made up.

Step by step

  1. In Cloud, open the folder where you want to put your files.

  2. Click the red Nouveau (New) button, then Déposer des fichiers (Upload files).

  3. Choose one or more files on your computer, then click Ouvrir (Open).

  4. A window shows the progress of each upload. When everything has arrived, the files appear in the list.

Good to know

  • There is no size limit: a big file is sent in pieces, and the upload picks up where it left off if the connection drops.
  • A file named “Résumé.pdf” coming from a Mac keeps exactly the same name as if it came from a PC.
  • The space used and the space left are shown at the bottom of the Cloud’s left-hand column.
