How do I keep a Cloud folder on my PC, even without Internet?

« Disponible hors connexion » (Available offline) keeps a copy of a Cloud folder on your PC. You can work in it even without Internet, and everything updates again when you’re back online.

Step by step

  1. In Cloud, right-click a folder.

  2. Click Rendre disponible hors connexion (Make available offline).

  3. The Garder « … » sur ce PC ? (Keep “…” on this PC?) window shows how much space the folder will take and how much free space your PC has. Click Garder sur ce PC (Keep on this PC).

  4. The folder is copied to the PC, into the “ArkiaSuite” folder in your personal folder. A small green check mark shows it in the Cloud.

  5. You work in this folder as usual, from File Explorer: every change is synced with the Cloud, in both directions.

Good to know

  • On the computer only (installed app).
  • If the disk doesn’t have enough space, ArkiaSuite tells you and downloads nothing.
  • The list of all the folders kept on the PC is in Paramètres (Settings) → Hors connexion (Offline).
