How do I open a file or folder in the Cloud?

In the Cloud, a single click is enough: a folder opens, a document is displayed.

The demonstration (20 seconds), without sound: read the captions under the picture (in French, like the app). The people and addresses are made up.

Step by step

  1. Click Cloud in the left-hand column. You see your folders and files.

  2. Click a folder to go into it. To go back up, click a name in the path above the list.

  3. Click a file: a Word, Excel or PowerPoint document opens in ArkiaDocs; a photo or a PDF is displayed.

  4. To see a file’s size, date or location without opening it, click the little i on its line (Informations (Information)).

Good to know

  • The Liste (List) / Grille (Grid) button at the top changes the view: in grid view, photos show a thumbnail.
  • Right-clicking a file opens a menu with everything you can do with it: open, download, rename, share…
