How do I add another mailbox?
Do you have several addresses at ArkiaMail (yours, the front desk’s…)? They can all open in ArkiaSuite, one under the other.
Step by step
In Mail, at the top of the folder column, next to the word « Boîtes » (Mailboxes), click + (Ajouter une boîte (Add a mailbox)).
In Adresse (Address), type the address of the mailbox to add.
In Mot de passe (Password), type its password.
Click Ajouter (Add). ArkiaSuite checks the password before keeping it, then the mailbox appears in the column, with all its folders.
Good to know
- This is done in the installed app (computer or phone): the app is what keeps the password, in the device’s secure storage.
- This is for addresses hosted at ArkiaMail. If the password is refused, ArkiaSuite tells you and doesn’t save it.
- An address from another provider (Orange, Gmail…) can’t be added here: forward its mail to ArkiaMail.
